The transformation is specifically seen in Leper, divisor, and Phineas. These three young men induce a change not just because of the transitions through adolescence. These changes also come round because of the war, the school, and an injury. Leper Lepellier is a very odd young man. He is quiet and is finds himself continuously taken by surprise. He really is not popular and that does not equal him in any way. Leper really has no true friends at the Devon school, that talks to factor. He entertains himself by collecting snails, looking for beaver damns, and skiing. His personality does not allow him to depend on anyone for help. As time progresses and the other boys appear the winter session he decides to enroll in the war. An Investigation of Latino Participation in Politics This research examines the disjuncture between Hispanic strength in population and Hispanic affaire in politics. I examine the nature of this disjuncture its severity, its causes, and its consequences. Hispanics currently comprise 11.2% of the U.S. population, but the Hispanic vote in the 1998 elections comprised just now 4.7% of all ballots cast. The situation is even bleaker when considering Hispanic representation in Congress. Currently, less than four percent of U.S. House members are Latino. Boyz in the Hood Essay

Boyz in the Hood is a vivid video representation of what life is interchangeable for those who live in the hood. at that place are two families that were the focus within the movie The Styles and The Bakers. The director of the movie, John Singleton, wants his viewers to compare the lives of the individuals within the movie to their accept lives so there could be a change in our society. He discretely expresses the importance of a wide upbringing by a fatherlike figure. I believe that this made the difference with the two families. It made all the difference to be brought up in the right circumstances.The two families were brought up in a lower class part of Los Angeles. The area is a low income neighborhood with the family units in need of much repair. In the movie there is un-cut grass and un-raked leaves cumbering the ground. The blusher on the walls is chipped and dull. The movie shows Tre at a young age sent to his father Furious. Tre and the Bakers children, Doughboy and Ricky capture good friends through break their teenaged years. It is interesting that these kids would get into so much trouble by just trying to find things to keep them occupied.In integrity scene of the movie, Ricky took a football as they were walking roughly town. A group of teenagers eyed the ball and desired to take it. With a little contention they stole the ball. After a small conflict, they got the ball back. there were many differences between the two families. The Baker family did not prevail a male figure in the home. The mother, Brenda t finish to take care of the kids on her own. In the Styles home there was no father because Tres mom and dad, Reva and Furious separated. Even though Furious did not live with his family, he was around to help Tre become a man.When Tre was in the middle years of elementary school, he made an agreement with his parents that if he got into trouble, he would be sent to live with his dad. Indeed that ended up happening and he lived w ith his father till he was around 20 years old. During these years, he learned many things that helped prepare him for life. There was one pivotal point within the move that helped illustrate this. On a clear, beautiful day Tre and Furious went fishing. There was an ulterior motive to spending that type of quality time. It gave Furious and Tre the opportunity to communicate. Furious could give insight and ask Tre questions.Furious states, Black man aint got no place in the army. He offers his fatherly council to impress Tre not to join the army. Also within the boat Furious asks Tre what he knows about sex. After a short remark from Tre, his dad says, entirely a real man can raise children. This comment made a big influence on Tre whether he knew it or not. Through his teen years, he maintained his virtue. Doughboy and Ricky Styles on the other hand did not have the fatherly council that Furious offered to Tre. They were left to themselves to learn how to become men. Their mothe r, Brenda, was not the best voice for them while they were children.She would call them names that I would never imagine would come out of a mothers mouth. The lack of respect for women is a good indicator of the lack of fatherly influence for the Styles. Doughboy thought he was tough. He thought that he was superior to all around him. His attitude might have contributed to him being in jail. After getting out of jail, he had nothing going for him. He would hang around the porch with his thug buddies. Ricky was in a fracture frame of mind with regards to his future. He wanted to get an education while playing football for the University of California in Loa Angeles.I believe that Ricky turned out better because Tre became his fatherly figure. Ricky and Tre were best friends. They wanted each other to succeed in life and would do anything for each other. While Tre first moved in with his dad, Furious blurted a statement that came true many years later. He says, youre gonna see how they end up too. He was referring to the Styles children who were young at the time. There is a fulfillment of this prophesy at the end of the movie. Both Ricky and Doughboy end up being tragically shot and killed. I really had a concentrated time with the fact that Ricky died. Despite his upbringing, he had things going for him.The examples that were set forth within the movie vividly gives food for thought of what we can do to get through a difference. For Tre, he was fortunate to have well educated parents that showed good examples. The Styles children lacked these aspects and it played an important roll on how they turned out. Therefore, if the movie accurately portrays the final result of such circumstances, then we need to make a difference in society by starting in the home. By raising children in an environs that will help them make wise critical decisions, I believe this will accomplish what director John Shingleton wanted to convey to his viewers.

Mr. Mahbub Hossain, my line manager of my previous office, is my role model for my career path. He is the CSM (Customer Service Manager)of Joydebpur branch, Brac Bank LTD. In brief, he is acquiring MBA from IBA along with his job. Was graduated from DU (Finance), prior that he took places in both HSC & SSC examinations. As I worked with him, I ready many good qualities in him. By times, I took him as a role model as his qualities impressed me. I am going to point out two of them which is leadership quality and secondly, lively decision (appropriate) making ability.As I have seen him closely, I found all the qualities that a leader should have. He guided the police squad successfully to fall upon the organizational goal. He police squaded us up too strongly & cheered us to act spontaneously to meet up the goals. He used to take initiatives for pleased us up. So that we never been tired in meeting our business targets. Theory says, a leader has to have s nonetheless qualities, bu t I found more in him. Out of the theoretical ones, his friendly & caring attitude made us believe that we are not only team players, nevertheless more than that.Personal recognitions helped a banding to follow his leadership willingly, not only for his designation. His interpersonal communication skill & ability of finding out team members strength or weakness made him a successful leader. I found him forever remain calm in circumstantial situations and controlled tactfully. Always stand with subordinates against all odds (from outside) is remarkable. His keen friendship and prompt decision making ability is an effective quality for any career. I always found him deciding with the best option. Some of his effective decisions saved potential losses.He even made critical decisions over the phone in instant. His knowledge on current issues, updating about the recent changes made him up to this standard. We people learn from the surrounding. I passed a long time with Mr. Mahbub in side & as well outside of our office. I try to adapt these two qualities in me. I wish to be a leader standardised him as my team members also think like that we are in a team, not like a orderer & follower relation. To get leadership quality like him I try to spend more time with him. Whenever we meet, we share our ides.I am gathering theoretical data as I can even exceed his leadership quality. It was said, Leaders are born, not made. But recent studies proved that these leadership qualities can be developed to a great(p) extent. I attended a training program at Briddhi with him (arranged by our organization), which was meant for mid level managers and up comers. Finding out colleges ability seems tough to me. I found this as my area of developments. At any stage of career I should be prompt in making quick decisions with accuracy. As I said just ago, I discuss about every issue with him.If there is any situation I have to decide anything at once, I let him know about the issue and exchange ideas for improvement scopes. International Involvement

International Involvement Several significant events took place from 1890-1905 that relate the unite assures, particularly the United States becoming more than involved in international affairs. The United States has been a major player in world affairs over the last two centuries. In the years quest its War of Independence, its policies tended to be isolationist, but over the centuries it has transformed, mainly by trade and economic imperatives, into a superpower that exerts military machine, economic and cultural domination over a good deal of the rest of the world.This paper will outline two major events occurring from 1890-1905. Treaty of capital of France 1898 The first meeting for the Treaty of Paris occurred on October 1, 1898 when officials from Spain and the United States congregated in Paris, France. The intent of the meeting was to generate an agreement, or treaty that would put an end to a war, also known as the Spanish American War. The American officials give at the meeting were the Honorable Whitelaw Reid, Senators George Gray, William Frye and William Day ( subroutine library of Congress, 2010).The outcome of the meeting resulted in Spain receiving 20 million dollars from the United States in exchange for possession of the Philippines. Along with the Philippines macrocosm placed under American control, the United States also gained power over Guam and Puerto Rico. The meetings took place over a nine day period and the Treaty of Paris was finalized and signed on December 10, 1898 (Library of Congress, 2010). Venezuelan Boundary Dispute 1895-1899Although most may relate the Venezuelan Boundary Dispute to December 17, 1895, when the United States chairperson at the time Grover Cleveland submitted a letter to Congress practically declaring war on Venezuela, the Dispute essentially initiated in 1841 when Venezuelan officials claimed British military was draw close Venezuelan land with intention of taking possession. The main reason for t his was in 1814 Great Britain gained control of Guyana by signing a treaty with the Netherlands without a decided western boundary (Pike, 2010).In result, the British hired a man named Robert Schomburgk, who was a well-known and well respected surveyor, to clarify how farther the boundary of the land that the British owned. The survey that Robert Schomburgk conducted in 1835 resulted in an additional 30,000 square miles of ownership for the British (Pike, 2010). This additional territory was later named the Schomburgk Line. However, Venezuela argued the results of the survey in 1841 and claimed that its borders extended as far east as the Essequibo River, which meant that Venezuela was claiming nearly two-thirds of British territory.Years later by and by gold was discovered in the Schomburgk Line by Britain, Venezuela contested the ownership of the area in 1876, and asked the United States for assistance in the matter, referring to the Monroe Doctrine as rationalization for Unite d States involvement. The Monroe Doctrine (referring to former United States President James Monroe) stated if European countries blast to unfairly overtake land the United States would view the action as a requirement for United States military involvement (Yale Law School, 2008).The request for United States involvement continued for the next 19 years, but received little response from the United States.
